Border Guards transport free clean water to help more than 100 households in flood-affected areas

On November 24, Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station, Khanh Hoa Border Guard mobilized vehicles to transport and provide free fresh water to more than 100 households seriously lacking clean water in Dong Ro hamlet, Vinh Xuan village, Nam Nha Trang ward.

Witnessing the scene of people without water for many days due to the damaged water supply system, the Border Guard used a specialized vehicle to transport clean water for free to help the people. The people were extremely touched and excited to receive cans of fresh water in time for cooking and daily activities.

Officers and soldiers of Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station also coordinated with local forces to clean up mud, collect garbage and clear clogged sewers after the flood.

Environmental sanitation work was carried out urgently, disinfecting the entire residential area to ensure environmental hygiene and safety, limit the risk of disease outbreaks, and at the same time create conditions for people to soon return to normal life.

The practical and timely actions of officers and soldiers of Nha Trang Port Border Guard Station demonstrate their sense of responsibility towards the community, contributing to helping people overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
