Initial information, the landslide location, the house belongs to Mr. Vo Van Cuong's family (born in 1973, residing in Cu Tai 2 village, A Bung commune).
The initial cause was determined to be that Mr. Cuong's newly built house had an embankment built close to the stream bank. Due to strong water flow, the embankment was washed away, causing the back wall of the house to collapse.

The landslide did not cause any human casualties. Regarding property, a 4-seater car was swept away and stuck at the A Rong spillway. In addition, a truck parked in Mr. Cuong's yard was at risk of being swept into the stream but was rescued in time. The entire corrugated iron roof collapsed, and the house's floor sank toward the stream. The total estimated damage is more than 500 million VND.

La Lay International Border Guard Station sent 10 officers and soldiers to promptly arrive, coordinate with functional forces and people to support property protection, and bring Mr. Cuong's belongings to a safe place.
In addition, the La Lay International Border Guard Station coordinated with the local government of A Bung commune to mobilize households in the neighboring area to take shelter at the headquarters of the A Bung Commune People's Committee to ensure safety and stabilize the situation.
