Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents Consular Acceptance Certificate to Consul General of Dominica in Ho Chi Minh City

On December 3, Director of the Consular Department Doan Hoang Minh presented the Consular Acceptance Certificate to Mr. Guillaume Yves Matz, the new Consul General of the Commonwealth of Dominica in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director Doan Hoang Minh congratulated Mr. Guillaume Yves Matz on his new position, believing that the new Consul General will contribute to further promoting bilateral relations based on the potential and strengths of each country, especially in the fields of economics - trade, culture, tourism, people-to-people exchange and consular cooperation.

The Director of the Consular Department emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Consular Department and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs) as well as Vietnamese authorities will continue to accompany the Consulate General and create favorable conditions for the new Consul General to successfully complete his term of office in Vietnam.

For his part, Mr. Guillaume Yves Matz thanked Director Doan Hoang Minh for taking the time to receive him and hand over the Consular Acceptance Certificate. Pleased with the positive developments in bilateral relations, Mr. Guillaume Yves Matz affirmed that he will make every effort to promote bilateral relations in many areas of mutual interest, including consular cooperation.
