Appointment of Do Van Chien as Assistant to the Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed Resolution No. 1961/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly on the appointment of Do Van Chien as Assistant to the Member of the Political Bureau and Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to appoint Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vuong, Assistant to Comrade Do Van Chien, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to continue serving as Assistant to Comrade Do Van Chien, Member of the Political Bureau, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Assembly, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.

This resolution takes effect from the date of signing (January 8, 2026).

In Resolution No. 1962/NQ-UBTVQH15, signed by Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved to approve the dismissal of Mr. Dang Thanh Son from the position of Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council, 15th term, 2021-2026, effective from January 1, 2026.
