At the regular press conference for the third quarter of 2024, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chi, Deputy Minister of Finance, said that the Ministry fully agreed with this proposal. The Deputy Minister emphasized that this proposal is worth accepting and studying in a comprehensive and comprehensive manner to build a transparent and sustainably developing real estate market.
Regarding tax policy, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chi said that if this policy alone is not comprehensive, the ultimate goal will not be achieved. Other policies such as land, planning, finance, etc. must also be synchronized.
Regarding the proposal of the Ministry of Construction, Mr. Chi said: The Ministry of Finance should study, propose, and advise on tax policies for second homes or abandoned, unused properties; study and have a tax policy for cases of owning and using many houses and lands to limit speculation, buying and selling in a short period of time to make a profit.
