Regarding the task of building the Government's Report on the implementation of the delimitation of mountainous and highland areas, Minister and Chairman Hau A Lenh requested that, in order to ensure full content, it is necessary to closely follow the Conclusion of the National Assembly Standing Committee, report on difficulties, and clearly identify the legal aspects, the authority to issue criteria; the conflict between the delimitation of mountainous and highland areas and the delimitation of development levels...
Discussions aimed at developing a set of scientific criteria, overcoming existing limitations, achieving the goal of sustainable and long-term poverty reduction, responding to the practical situation. The meeting agreed on the content to propose to the National Assembly Standing Committee for decision; continue to complete the dossier, ensuring completion progress in March 2024.
The Minister requested the Department of Ethnic Policy to closely follow the conclusions of the National Assembly Standing Committee to review the content, supplement the legal basis; practical basis; assess the current situation; plan criteria suitable to reality; develop a specific implementation roadmap and progress; closely follow the conclusions of the National Assembly Standing Committee; strengthen coordination and information exchange with the Ethnic Council and relevant agencies of the Government.
Regarding other tasks, Minister and Director Hau A Lenh requested the Department of Ethnic Policy to continue reviewing the content, procedures, supplementing bases and facilities, and speeding up the implementation progress.
