On the afternoon of September 19, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung chaired the second meeting of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that after the success of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, we have urgently focused on implementing the Resolution of the Congress.

At the first meeting of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry, we issued the Working Regulations of the Executive Committee and the Work Program for the entire term to concretize the Congress Resolution. At the same time, we assigned tasks to comrades in the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee to conduct work in accordance with the Party's Charter and Working Regulations.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry also completed the advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee of the Ministry, established the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Inspection Committee, the Organization Committee, the Party Committee Office...

"It can be said that in a short period of time, while carrying out the Party's leadership and direction and carrying out professional work, the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry has made a lot of efforts," the Minister expressed.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

At today's meeting, in addition to summarizing the Party building work in the third quarter and deploying key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025, the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to discuss and deploy the extremely important task assigned by the Politburo and the Government Party Committee, which is to build a draft Resolution of the Politburo on Revival and Development of Vietnamese Culture in the New Era.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that the Resolution of the Politburo on Revival and Development of Vietnamese Culture in the New Era is a very important Resolution, demonstrating the great concern of the Party and State leaders for the issue of cultural development.

In the past time, the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism have presided over and coordinated with relevant agencies to urgently carry out necessary tasks. The Ministry has established a Drafting Committee and an Editorial Team to draft the Resolution and held meetings, workshops and discussions to draft the Resolution to submit to competent authorities.

At the Conference, delegates spoke and contributed opinions to the draft report on Party building results in the third quarter and tasks for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Accordingly, over the past time, the Drafting Committee and Editorial Team building the draft Resolution of the Politburo on Revival and Development of Vietnamese Culture in the New Era have urgently implemented the procedures to build the draft Resolution in a new spirit and approach.

We have organized many meetings, conferences, workshops, and discussions, including conferences chaired by Party Secretary, Minister Nguyen Van Hung - Head of the Drafting Committee to collect opinions from agencies, experts, and scientists . Up to now, the 5th draft has been built to fully absorb all comments.

The draft Resolution aims to identify bottlenecks to propose tasks and solutions, focusing on key points and breakthroughs for implementation.

After listening to the opinions and conclusions of the Conference, Party Secretary and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that regarding the Party building work in the third quarter and the implementation of key tasks in the fourth quarter of 2025, on the basis of the draft report of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee will receive and direct the Party Committee Office, advisory and support agencies, and closely coordinate with relevant units to continue to complete the report.

  The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, was a great success.

The Minister emphasized that the report needs to clearly demonstrate the leadership and direction of the Party in the professional tasks of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Affirming the new and creative ways in implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and State that have been applied by the Party Committee of the Ministry in the past time.

In terms of institutions, we are building a Feasibility Study Report for the National Target Program on Cultural Development, building the Press Law (amended), building decrees and circulars, perfecting legal documents on decentralization and delegation of powers of two-level local governments...

In particular, the Minister emphasized that in recent times, the key political task of the entire industry as well as the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is to focus on activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The activities have aroused patriotism, pride in independence, freedom, happiness and the aspiration to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

In addition to important political tasks and unique art programs, the National Achievement Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" was successfully organized, meeting the cultural enjoyment needs of the people, recognized by the leaders of the Party, State and the People.

Besides, foreign culture achieved many important results, tourism continued to develop, achieving high growth rate... Party building work continued to be promoted.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered concluding remarks at the Conference.

Regarding the direction of tasks in the coming time, the Minister emphasized that from now until the end of the year, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism still has a lot of work to do. In particular, we must proactively review the targets, goals and key tasks of the entire industry, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Departments and Divisions. We must strive to complete 100% of the assigned tasks.

In addition, continue to carry out tasks approved by competent authorities with the highest volume and quality; Participate in international activities and major events of international organizations of which Vietnam is a member; Prepare for the year-end review, the Ministry's term review and the entire industry review, and continue to carry out Party building tasks.

Regarding the task of drafting the Politburo's Resolution on Revival and Development of Vietnamese Culture in the New Era, the Minister assessed that over the past time, the Drafting Committee, Editorial Team and standing departments and secretaries have made many efforts to carry out the task.

However, to build a draft Resolution of the highest quality, the Minister requested that the draft Resolution must demonstrate what is new, what is inherited, developed... clarifying the requirement set forth by the Politburo to revive and develop culture in the new era.

The tasks and solutions in the Resolution must clearly demonstrate action, with very specific and clear requirements. In addition, the institutional and resource issues for cultural development must be specifically expressed.

Pointing out a number of other specific requirements, the Minister requested the Drafting Committee and Editorial Team to continue to improve in the direction of maximizing collective intelligence. At the same time, he requested that the Executive Committee members carefully study the draft Resolution to give their opinions on the content.
