At 9:00 AM on December 9th, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung will visit and encourage the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games.

Authorized by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and President of the Vietnam Olympic Committee Nguyen Van Hung will attend the opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games this evening, December 9th.

The Culture Newspaper reported: "Yesterday, December 8th, the Minister arrived in Thailand. Welcoming the Minister and the delegation at Suvarnabhumi Airport were the Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Department - Head of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games, Nguyen Hong Minh; the Deputy Head of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games, Hoang Quoc Vinh, along with representatives of the Vietnamese delegation."

Here, Minister Nguyen Van Hung extended his greetings and best wishes to the coaches and athletes of the Vietnamese sports delegation. The Minister expressed his hope that each athlete would carry the will in their mind, the fire in their heart, and the inner strength to overcome their limitations, strive to achieve the highest possible results, and bring glory to the Fatherland, as Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh advised at the send-off ceremony.

Prior to attending the opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games, at 9:00 AM on December 9th, Minister Nguyen Van Hung is expected to visit and encourage the coaches and athletes.
