
Meeting with constituents following the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly in Ngok Bay commune.
Attending the conference were Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, U Huan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nghe Minh Hong; representatives from various departments and agencies, Delegation No. 3 of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and a large number of voters from Ngok Bay commune.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation announced the results of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. After 40 days of continuous, urgent, and serious work (from October 20 to December 11), with a spirit of innovation and high responsibility, the session completed its entire agenda.
The National Assembly reviewed and passed 51 laws and 8 normative resolutions; conducted a review of the work of state agencies during the 2021-2026 term; considered and decided on personnel matters within its authority; and carried out thematic supervision on the implementation of environmental protection policies and laws since the Environmental Protection Law of 2020 came into effect.

Voters in Ngok Bay commune raised concerns about shortcomings in the current land use right certificate issuance process.
In addition, the National Assembly discussed and provided feedback on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; considered and decided on important issues concerning socio -economic development, the state budget, investment policies for national target programs, important national projects, and adjustments to the national master plan.
Highly appreciating the results of the 10th Session, a session of historical significance, voters expressed their agreement and welcomed the serious and responsible working spirit of the National Assembly throughout the past period.
In particular, voters acknowledged and highly appreciated the National Assembly's issuance of resolutions to address difficulties in the implementation of the Land Law; amendments to laws related to education; and the approval of investment policies for national target programs on education modernization, healthcare, and population for the period 2026–2035.

Voter Vo Thi Dinh from Ngok Bay commune submitted a petition regarding the deterioration of Provincial Road 675, which was recently invested in and repaired.
During the meeting, voters in Ngok Bay commune raised six points and made suggestions, focusing on pressing social issues such as transportation, land, administrative procedures, and policies. A notable complaint was regarding the newly opened Provincial Road 675, which is already deteriorating, frequently flooded, and posing a potential traffic safety hazard.
Voters also requested clarification on the origin of the land and the leasing and issuance of land use right certificates at Thanh Trung Rubber Plantation; they also reported difficulties in travel and handling administrative procedures due to the distance between the merged offices.
In addition, voters requested a review of poor and near-poor households to issue health insurance cards to ethnic minorities; to promptly resolve outstanding issues related to benefits for war veterans and social insurance; and to prioritize investment in repairing dilapidated rural roads.

Representatives from the Quang Ngai Provincial Department of Construction frankly acknowledged the deteriorating condition of Provincial Road 675 and stated that the Department has established an inspection team to determine the cause and will implement remedial measures in 2026.
At the meeting with voters, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Ngok Bay commune, and representatives of relevant departments and agencies received and directly addressed opinions and requests within their authority.
Speaking at the conference, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung expressed his affection and appreciation for the local voters. The Minister said he was deeply moved and happy to have been elected as a representative to the 15th National Assembly by the voters of Kon Tum province (now Quang Ngai province), and that throughout his term he had always received the trust and support of the voters to fulfill his responsibilities as an elected representative.

Within his area of responsibility, the Minister shared that he, together with the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Kon Tum province (formerly), focused on promoting the development of culture, sports, and tourism, attracting and connecting many investment projects with the hope of gradually improving the lives of the people.
The Minister emphasized that Kon Tum is a locality with great potential and room for tourism development, possessing a rich cultural heritage and a wealth of historical and revolutionary relics. According to the Minister, these values should be transformed into precious assets and resources for development.
Over the past period, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has supported the province in investing in the construction and restoration of the Kon Tum Prison relic, including the Dak To - Tan Canh Victory National Special Relic in the investment list, and repairing the environmental landscape at the Dak Glei Prison relic… thereby not only paying tribute to previous generations but also creating a destination for traditional education and attracting tourists.
The Minister stated that, together with the province, the industry has systematically oriented the development of community tourism, limiting spontaneous development, while also planning to build a tourism ecosystem with the participation of large investors.

Sharing the good news with voters, the Minister announced that in January 2026, Sun Group will begin construction on key tourism and transportation infrastructure projects in Mang Den. Once these projects are implemented, development opportunities will spread to surrounding areas, creating momentum and resources for Kon Tum (now Quang Ngai) to become a new growth pole.
Citing a real-world example, the Minister mentioned Mount Ba Den, a place that was once little-known, but after systematic investment has become an attractive tourist destination, thereby contributing to improving the lives of local people and making a positive contribution to the local budget.
In his capacity as the head of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Minister stated that he, along with provincial leaders, has identified the strengths of medicinal plant development, gradually shifting from fragmented production to commodity production linked with processing. To date, the folk knowledge about Ngoc Linh ginseng has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a national intangible cultural heritage, thereby contributing to affirming the brand, opening up opportunities for sustainable development, and helping people to legitimately prosper.
Sharing his thoughts on implementing the two-tiered local government model, the Minister stated that Ngok Bay commune was established by merging three communes, expanding its scale and development space. However, he added that "every beginning is difficult," and there will certainly be many challenges that require the concerted efforts of the entire political system and the people.
The Minister affirmed that the opinions and suggestions of the voters are legitimate, practical, and directly affect the lives of the people. Therefore, the Minister requested the province and relevant agencies to continue to pay attention and promptly find solutions to remove bottlenecks and address the voters' suggestions in a timely manner.
At the same time, the Minister suggested that Ngok Bay commune should focus on developing its economy based on its advantages in agriculture and livestock farming; promote production linkages along the value chain; and effectively exploit resources and landscapes to develop tourism, aiming to build model tourist villages associated with the urbanization process. The Minister affirmed that central ministries and agencies will always accompany and support the locality in its development process.
On this occasion, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung presented 100 million VND from social contributions to Kon Ro Bang 2 village, Ngoc Bay commune, to invest in sound equipment for the upcoming communal house.
