Defense Ministers of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia hold first-ever border exchange

At the area of the three-country border landmark, General Phan Van Giang (Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense of Vietnam) welcomed General Chansamone Chanyalath (Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense of Laos) and General Tea Seiha (Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense of Cambodia).

Also at the area of the border landmark of the three countries, the three Defense Ministers of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia performed the salute ceremony - painted the sovereignty landmark, witnessed the border protection forces of the three countries patrolling, checking the landmark and planting friendship trees.

This morning (December 14), the Defense Ministers of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and the participants witnessed and carried out activities such as: joint military medical exercise between the armies of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia (at the intersection of Bo Y International Border Gate Toll Station); inauguration of the Cultural House of Ta Ka village, Po Y commune; visit and present gifts to Be Van Dan Primary School (Po Y commune, Ngoc Hoi district, Kon Tum ).

In particular, this afternoon, the three Defense Ministers of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia will hold an annual meeting and sign cooperation documents.
