At the meeting, Director Vu Van Tan emphasized noteworthy information about the "leading" role of the Ministry of Justice when it was assigned by General Secretary To Lam and the Prime Minister to preside over and guide ministries, branches, and localities to review, reduce, and simplify administrative procedures (AP) based on data.
According to the Major General, this requires the Ministry of Justice to set an example, complete the data set, and do a good job of reviewing, reducing, and simplifying administrative procedures. The civil status database that the Justice sector is completing is the original, essential data of people, which needs to be focused on upgrading and investing.

Regarding this issue, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh said that for the 4 key databases, 2 have been completed (Civil Registration and Secured Transactions), and are currently in the updating phase to ensure that the data is "correct, sufficient, clean, alive, and shared in a unified manner". However, the Ministry will review to ensure that the quality of infrastructure and data is consistent among localities.
With 2 databases to be completed in 2025 (Execution of Judgments and Legal Aid), the Ministry of Justice will clarify issues such as whether there are any capital problems, whether the accompanying enterprises meet the requirements and most importantly, how should the coordination with the units of the Ministry of Public Security be strengthened? The Ministry of Justice will proactively meet the technical requirements to be ready for connection, before requesting the Ministry of Public Security to speed up the implementation solution.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh added that Steering Committee 57, headed by Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh, holds weekly meetings to monitor progress and find solutions to resolve problems. The Deputy Minister pledged that the Ministry will continue to proactively and actively coordinate to complete assigned tasks.
The latest statistics show that the two national databases on population (Ministry of Public Security) and civil status database (Ministry of Justice) have been completed and almost meet the requirements on the profile components of about 5,800 current administrative procedures.
Delegates attending the meeting reviewed and evaluated the implementation of relevant specialized databases, promoting the progress of completing digital data tasks assigned by the Central Steering Committee, serving the construction of the National Data Center. The representative of the Ministry of Finance pledged to coordinate with the Ministry of Justice to prioritize investment in building key databases.
