The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) has just launched a songwriting contest about the CST sector, to honor the spirit of dedication, identity and values of those working in the fields of culture, sports and tourism. This is considered a meaningful activity in the context of the industry's efforts to innovate and spread the spirit of Solidarity - Creativity - Development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized: " Music has a special power, touching the heart, arousing pride and connecting people. A good song can become a spiritual symbol, living forever, resounding in emulation movements, festivals or on stages across the country."
The contest is open nationwide, for all subjects from professional and amateur musicians to organizations and individuals who love music . Entries must demonstrate the beauty of the profession, tradition, and role of the culture, sports and tourism industry in social life; at the same time, honor the image of modern Vietnamese people, full of compassion and the spirit of integration.
The submission period is from November 13 to December 15, 2025. The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place on December 31, 2025 in Hanoi . This year, the prize structure is considered attractive, in which the first prize is worth 50 million VND. In addition, there are 2 second prizes (25 million VND/prize), 3 third prizes (15 million VND/prize) and 5 consolation prizes (10 million VND/prize).

The leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hope that the contest will find compositions with artistic value, rich in emotions and strong influence, contributing to portraying the spirit of love for the profession, belief and aspiration for dedication of the staff, artists, athletes and workers in the whole industry. The winning songs will be widely disseminated, becoming a "common song" to inspire the activities and movements of the Ministry.
The competition is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the Department of Performing Arts taking on the permanent role of organizer, with a Jury consisting of prestigious musicians and experts. This is also an opportunity to encourage young authors and creative artists, thereby contributing to nurturing the spiritual and cultural life and building a new image for the culture, sports and tourism industry in the current development stage.
