In a document sent to the Departments of Health of provinces and cities and Hoa Binh Pharma Joint Stock Company (Address: Dong Se Hamlet, Luong Son Commune, Phu Tho Province); Tan Van Xuan Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics Joint Stock Company (same address), the Drug Administration of Vietnam stated that according to a report from the Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, and Food, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and Food Safety, the sample of Thuan Moc Skin Cream (1 tube of 21g, batch number: 12/2024/NHB, production date: September 10, 2024, expiry date: March 9, 2027) failed to meet the requirements for microbiological testing.
The recalled product was manufactured by Tan Van Xuan Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics Joint Stock Company and marketed by Hoa Binh Pharma Joint Stock Company.

Based on the test results, the Drug Administration of Vietnam has ordered the nationwide suspension of the infringing batch of Thuan Moc skin cream.
The Drug Administration Department ( Ministry of Health ) has issued a notice suspending the circulation and recalling nationwide a batch of Thuan Moc skin cream; and simultaneously requested the manufacturer to destroy this batch of products. (illustrative image)
The Drug Administration Department requests that the Departments of Health in provinces and cities notify businesses and users of cosmetics to immediately cease trading and using the products and proceed with the recall and destruction of all infringing product batches;
At the same time, inspect and monitor the implementation and strictly handle cases of violations according to regulations.
For Hoa Binh Pharma Joint Stock Company and Tan Van Xuan Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics Joint Stock Company, the Drug Administration of Vietnam requires the two companies to send recall notices to all distributors, businesses, and users of the products; receive returned products, proceed with the recall and destruction of the entire batch of substandard products; and report the results of the recall and destruction to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before December 5th.
The Phu Tho Provincial Department of Health is tasked with closely monitoring the recall and destruction of products from the two companies, as well as inspecting compliance with legal regulations on the production and sale of cosmetics, and handling any violations (if any).
