Participating in the activity were more than 40 students attending training classes, improving knowledge of tourism culture and skills in teaching traditional Khmer art.

Students visited and learned about the unique architectural and artistic value of Xiem Can Pagoda; divided into groups to practice explaining the history of the pagoda and the main items in the campus such as sala, main hall, and traditional house.
In particular, students had the opportunity to listen to artists from Xiem Can Pagoda share their experiences and techniques in performing Five-tone music and exchange performances of various Khmer folk dances.
Venerable Duong Quan, Abbot of Xiem Can Pagoda, proposed that the province organize festivals to perform Khmer musical instruments and dances to create opportunities for students to show their talents and at the same time promote tourism development at Khmer pagodas.

The activity contributes to equipping students with specialized knowledge about tourism culture and intangible cultural forms of the Khmer people, thereby helping students effectively apply theoretical knowledge into practice, participate in preserving and promoting Khmer cultural values. At the same time, improve the quality of human resources to implement the objectives of Project 6 on preserving and promoting the good cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in Ca Mau province./.
