Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSR, hopes that the cooperation agreement between BSR and the University of Technical Education - Da Nang University will bring practical benefits to both sides.

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in researching, developing, and applying new technologies in the fields of petrochemicals, chemicals, new materials, clean energy, and renewable energy.

BSR and UTE also agreed to implement scientific and technological projects linked to the production and business needs of the enterprises, while promoting innovation, technology transfer, and commercialization of research results. In the field of training, the two sides will cooperate in developing human resources in engineering, technology, management, and innovation; organizing training courses and specialized workshops; and creating opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students to participate in internships, practical production experience, and research at the enterprises.

This collaboration also opens up options for experts from both sides to participate and contribute to the review and implementation of scientific and technological tasks and initiatives, write and present scientific reports at conferences, and publish in scientific journals, both domestic and international, on a voluntary basis and in compliance with the current regulations of each organization. Finally, part of this collaboration will focus on researching the possibility and opportunities for financial support or scholarship funding for students, while prioritizing the recruitment of these students if they meet the needs and requirements of BSR.

Representatives from both organizations signed the cooperation agreement.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSR, informed UTE about BSR's important role in ensuring national energy security, as well as its production and business situation, scientific research philosophy, and innovative application.

In the field of science and technology, BSR is actively implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. BSR focuses on optimizing production and business operations; aiming to produce diverse, green, and clean products; and promoting digital transformation to enhance management capacity and operational efficiency. To realize these goals, BSR has recently signed numerous cooperation agreements with various units in science and technology and technical education.

"We hope that the cooperation agreement between BSR and the University of Technology and Education - Da Nang University will bring practical benefits to both sides, while contributing to providing high-quality human resources, promoting applied research, and technology transfer in the petrochemical and energy industries in Vietnam," Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong emphasized.
