Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh emphasized that this is the third year the Award has been organized online on the Vietnam image promotion platform - Vietnam.vn , with the goal of encouraging all people in the country, overseas Vietnamese communities and international friends to create photos and videos about the country and people of Vietnam using modern digital tools.

After 3 years of organization, the Award has gone beyond the framework of a traditional photo-video contest to become a national Award, attracting nearly 40,000 entries.
Outstanding and representative works have been exhibited in many localities across the country, from Dien Bien Phu of the 70th anniversary of the glorious victory, to Hanoi resplendent in the spirit of the 80th anniversary of National Day, from dynamic Hai Phong to vibrant and vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.

Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association Do Lenh Hung Tu, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Editor-in-Chief of Photography & Life Magazine Ho Sy Minh awarded the second prize in the photo and video category to the authors and groups of authors.
Along with that, 97 Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad have also included these works in activities to promote the national image, contributing to strongly spreading the message of a peaceful, humane, and unique Vietnam.
The Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism added that after more than 4 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 17,000 photo and video works - an increase of 1.7 times compared to 2024. With a sense of responsibility and impartiality, the Jury selected 36 award-winning works, along with 150 photos and 29 typical videos to display at the exhibition.
“Each work is a true slice of life, a beautiful moment recording the transformation of the country. All blend together to create a vivid picture of a happy - civilized - rich in identity Vietnam and rising strongly on the journey of integration and development.

Authors and group representatives received third prize in the photo and video categories.
What is special is that the authors come from different professions, different ages, different regions and ethnicities.
They use different equipment, from professional to simple. But they all have one thing in common: a passionate love for the Fatherland and a desire to convey the image of a peaceful, beautiful, dynamic and happy Vietnam to the world,” Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh affirmed.

Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam is a media award on human rights in Vietnam organized annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. 2025 is the third season the Award is organized and launched nationwide to attract the participation of many authors across the country.

At the Award Ceremony, in each competition category (photo and video), the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, 10 Encouragement prizes, and 1 prize for the most voted work.
In the photo category, the first prize went to the work Vietnam - The Rising Era by author Pham Ngoc Long Thien.
For the video category, the work Happy Smiles by author Luu Minh Khuong won first prize.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also encourages and awards creativity in each category (1 photo and 1 video) for works with new ideas, creativity in content and form of expression.
The award aims to discover and honor meaningful moments and stories in all aspects of Vietnam's political, economic, cultural and social life through photos and videos submitted by domestic and international authors, vividly affirming Vietnam's achievements in the field of human rights.
Thereby promoting the image of Vietnam and its people to the world, with the image of a peaceful, beautiful, dynamically developing and happy country.


This year's entries are quite diverse in genre and theme, focusing on introducing and promoting the image of Vietnam's country and people, cultural and natural values across the country.
The award also arouses national pride and development aspirations among all classes of people to join hands in building Vietnam to become increasingly prosperous, wealthy and happy.
At the same time, it also vividly and truthfully reflects the development achievements in all aspects of Vietnam's political, economic, cultural and social life, especially in the process of innovation, development and international integration.
Within the framework of the Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee also called on everyone to join in supporting and sharing with the people of the Central region who are struggling with natural disasters.
