“Vietnam’s Imprint on the World Heritage Map” guides readers through five sections, comprehensively covering all types of Vietnamese heritage: World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Intangible Cultural Heritage, Documentary Heritage under the Memory of the World Programme, World Biosphere Reserves, and Global Geoparks. The heritage sites are arranged in chronological order of their recognition and inscription by UNESCO, helping readers clearly visualize the process of integration, exchange, and the affirmation of Vietnam’s cultural position within the flow of human civilization.

This book not only provides systematic information and documentary images about the process of preserving and promoting the value of natural and cultural heritage in Vietnam, but also inspires exploration , leading readers to lands rich in historical sediment, to admire unique architectural works, or to listen to the stories hidden behind the melodies, rituals, and customs that have become an integral part of the nation's soul.

Thanks to its rich documentation and scientific, vivid presentation, illustrated with many beautiful images, readers are immersed in the sacred festive atmosphere of the Hung Kings' ancestral land, silently admiring the solemn and ancient beauty of the Hue imperial city complex, or touching the pristine and majestic beauty of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park... Readers also learn about the solemn melodies of royal court music, the resounding gongs echoing through the Central Highlands, or the special documentary value preserved in the Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks, Nguyen Dynasty imperial archives, and the Hoang Hoa Su Trinh Do... Each page opens to a rich cultural experience, where spiritual and material values ​​have been crystallized over thousands of years of history.
