According to the Da Nang Social Insurance agency, one of the most significant achievements of the Da Nang Social Insurance agency in the first 11 months of 2025 was the 99.74% rate of synchronization of personal identification data. This result demonstrates the persistent and continuous efforts of the agency over many months, and also reflects the close and effective coordination between the city's Social Insurance agency and related units in implementing the Government's Project 06.
The near-perfect standardization and synchronization of population data has created a crucial foundation for all administrative procedure reforms. Thanks to the unified data system, information verification processes are carried out quickly and accurately, significantly shortening the time required to process applications. Citizens conducting transactions on the National Public Service Portal, the VssID application, or at one-stop service centers experience reduced waiting times and minimized instances of incorrect personal information, duplicate data, or rejected applications.
This also serves as a foundation for Da Nang Social Insurance to continue expanding high-level online public services. Along with data synchronization efforts, the VssID – Digital Social Insurance application continues to record strong growth. Currently, the city has approximately 1.1 million VssID users, a very impressive number considering Da Nang's population. This demonstrates the high level of application adoption and reflects a clear shift in people's approach to accessing and using social security services in the digital environment.
VssID is becoming an increasingly familiar tool, helping people easily look up their social insurance and health insurance participation history, track their medical history, use their electronic health insurance card, and receive notifications about changes in their records. These conveniences not only provide ease of use but also help people proactively control their rights, ensuring transparency in the process of participating in and benefiting from policies. At the same time, the increasing use of VssID by the public also contributes to reducing pressure on the one-stop service center, creating conditions for the social insurance sector to further promote the provision of online public services at a higher level.
Another notable achievement in the digital transformation of Da Nang Social Insurance is that 100% of medical facilities in the area have adopted chip-embedded citizen identification cards (CCCD) to receive and retrieve health insurance card information.
This has completely replaced the previous requirement for people to carry paper or plastic health insurance cards, thereby reducing inconvenience for patients, increasing safety, and limiting the risk of misuse. People can be quickly verified through the chip-embedded citizen identification card or the VssID application.
To achieve this result, the city's Social Insurance agency has closely coordinated with the city's Department of Health and medical facilities in standardizing the reception process, training on the use of the citizen identification card scanning system, ensuring smooth communication, and promptly resolving any arising issues.
The city's Social Insurance agency has also actively implemented the interconnected public services 603c - 633b, serving procedures such as registering for social insurance and health insurance, reporting increased labor force, and registering for insurance contributions. This interconnection between agencies has significantly reduced the number of trips businesses and employees make, increased transparency, and shortened processing times. Overall, the results of digital transformation not only meet immediate needs but also create a solid foundation for long-term goals: building a modern, friendly, and people-centered social insurance sector in Da Nang.
