Buon Don: 100% of eligible citizens participate in the preliminary health screening for military service.

The Military Service Council of Buon Don commune said that in the commune there are 297 young men of military age.

In preparation for the 2026 military recruitment, 91/91 eligible young men have recently participated in the preliminary health examination; many young men have volunteered to join the army.

A local citizen wrote a volunteer application to join the army.

It is known that over the past years, the locality has also achieved 100% of the military recruitment target. This result has a great contribution from extensive propaganda and mobilization work, especially the role of prestigious people in the community.

Village elders, village chiefs, and prestigious people in the commune have actively gone to every alley and knocked on every door to propagate the meaning, responsibilities, and benefits of participating in military service. From there, they created a high consensus among the people on the implementation of the Law on Military Service.

To ensure the quality of new recruits and complete the assigned targets, in the coming time, the Commune Military Service Council will continue to coordinate with sectors, organizations, village elders, prestigious people, and village chiefs to focus on widely propagating the Law on Military Service; and propagating documents guiding its implementation.

Along with that, care, visit, create conditions to support in many aspects for families with children of military service age, currently performing military service and discharged from the army and returning to the locality, contributing to concretizing the Army's rear policy...
