People of Buon Don commune actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to building new rural areas and strengthening the great national unity bloc in the area.

Specifically, from the beginning of 2024 until now, the commune has mobilized contributions to the "For the Poor" fund reaching more than 121 million VND; thereby promptly visiting, encouraging and supporting households in especially difficult circumstances. In particular, the commune has completed the construction of 4 Great Solidarity houses with a total value of 440 million VND, bringing solid homes to poor households.

At the same time, the activities of "Repaying gratitude", humanitarianism and charity are focused on; coordinating the implementation of many meaningful tasks towards policy families, poor and near-poor households in the area.

People of Buon Don commune compete in production and labor, creating many quality OCOP products.

To spread the movements and activities widely, the team of village elders, prestigious people, village and hamlet chiefs in the area have always proactively taken the lead. They not only convey policies and guidelines but also use their language, customs and prestige to mobilize and persuade people to participate in movements and activities.

Thanks to this exemplary and thorough work, activities such as: maintaining environmental hygiene (cleaning village roads, planting and caring for trees, building flower streets); implementing the movement of good production and business, the whole people unite to build a cultural life, happy families... have been enthusiastically responded by the people. From there, it has contributed to creating a new appearance for the border commune of Buon Don.
