Green agriculture
At this time, Yen Lam Green Agriculture Cooperative, Yen Phu commune is starting to purchase Vinh oranges and Sanh oranges to process dried oranges. In the 2025 - 2026 orange crop, the Cooperative plans to purchase about 200 tons of fresh fruit. To ensure product quality, input standards are very strict, with 100% of the raw material area meeting VietGAP production standards, with even fruit and reaching a certain ripeness, in order to preserve the flavor and color of dried oranges; therefore, in addition to the orange growing area of the members, the Cooperative has proactively linked with more than 20 households to build and develop a stable raw material area of 100 hectares.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tinh, Director of Yen Lam Green Agriculture Cooperative said: “In addition to the main product of dried oranges, the facility also develops packaged black beans and green beans, dried bamboo shoots, aiming at the demand for clean food, good for consumers' health. Facing difficulties due to weather and fluctuating market prices, the Cooperative has made efforts to purchase, process, introduce, promote and find distribution channels. We have connected with traders, cooperatives and businesses to expand opportunities to consume agricultural products to the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City.”
Located at an altitude of over 1,000 m above sea level, Cao Bo commune is one of the ancient Shan Tuyet tea areas of the province, with trees hundreds of years old recognized as Vietnam heritage trees. Shan Tuyet tea is grown in 11 villages and hamlets with a total area of over 1,000 hectares. On average, each year, the harvested output reaches more than 1,800 tons of fresh tea buds, with an economic value of over 32 billion VND. All tea material areas adhere to the "3 no" principle: no chemicals, no stimulants and no pesticides. Each product is carefully cared for from quality to packaging, beautiful design, meeting the tastes of domestic and international consumers.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong, Director of PY.NESYT Bird's Nest Company Limited, Phu Yen province: "Recently, I had the opportunity to attend the Exhibition Fair of Typical Rural Industrial Products in the Northern Region - Tuyen Quang in 2025. Through exchanging, sharing, and connecting with production facilities, I found that Tuyen Quang province has many typical agricultural products. All products are invested in a systematic way, with clear labels and traceability. This opens up a direction for cooperation for businesses and cooperatives to work together to bring Vietnamese agricultural products further."
With the potential and advantages in developing green, safe and sustainable agriculture, Tuyen Quang is gradually affirming its position on the map of Vietnamese agricultural products. The whole province currently has 12 products certified for geographical indications by the Department of Intellectual Property, along with more than 450 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, of which 2 products have reached 5 stars at the national level. Famous for Shan Tuyet tea, Mint honey, Quan Ba seedless persimmons, yellow cow, Sanh oranges, Soi Ha grapefruit, turmeric starch... In parallel with planning raw material areas, the province pays special attention to production according to VietGAP, GlobalGAP, organic standards, and trademark protection, in order to increase the value and competitiveness of agricultural products.
Through the discussion, Mr. Hoang Minh Chien, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade affirmed: The Trade Promotion Department will continue to accompany the province in strongly implementing activities to support the connection of consumption of OCOP products, agricultural products, rural industries into large domestic distribution systems and enhance product promotion at international fairs and Vietnamese goods weeks abroad. At the same time, synchronously implement solutions to develop e-commerce; apply digital transformation; train and improve capacity for enterprises and cooperatives in market access skills, brand development and export. Thereby, creating economic value, attracting investment, creating jobs and increasing income, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
