According to Volume 2 of Official Gazette No. 447, Volume A, published by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam in June, BYD Company has filed an application for industrial design copyright registration for a new car model.
Through the published images, it is highly likely that this is an electric sedan model called BYD Han L - the extended wheelbase version of the Han line currently distributed in Vietnam.

In the Chinese market, BYD Han L is priced from 209,800 - 279,800 yuan (equivalent to about 764 million - 1.01 billion VND). Meanwhile, the current Han EV version in Vietnam is listed at 1.498 billion VND.
BYD Han L has a modern design, sporty and high-class style. The car has overall dimensions of length x width x height of 5,050 x 1,960 x 1,505 (mm), wheelbase up to 2,970 mm, slightly longer than the standard Han EV version currently sold in Vietnam.

The front of the car stands out with a chrome strip connecting the headlights, the front part does not have a traditional radiator grille, creating a seamless and sophisticated look. The "Han" logo is placed in the middle of the grille, the lower bumper is designed more boldly.
The two-tone five-spoke wheels and chrome window trim add to the luxurious look. The D-pillar is designed in the "L" shape typical of the Han L series.

The interior features a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen and a D-Cut steering wheel. The seats are upholstered in premium leather, with the front seats featuring full electric adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage. The rear seats feature a separate touch control panel and come with a smart key.
The BYD Han L comes in two powertrain options: fully electric (Han L EV) and plug-in hybrid (Han L PHEV). The Han L EV is powered by the Blade 2.0 battery and comes in two variants: rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a 500 kW electric motor and all-wheel drive (AWD) with a 580 kW motor combined with a 230 kW motor at the front, for a total output of 810 kW.

Han L EV uses a 1000V high voltage system, an 83.2kWh LFP battery pack, for an operating range of 601 - 701km (CLTC standard). 10C fast charging technology allows the car to increase its operating range by 400km in just 5 minutes, providing a charging experience almost equivalent to filling up with gasoline.
The Han L PHEV version is equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM 5.0 hybrid system in two variants: DM-i and DM-p. Both have a 200 kW electric motor and a 1.5T gasoline engine with 115 kW. The DM-p variant alone is AWD and has an additional 200 kW electric motor.
The car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 2.7 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 305km/h. The rear electric motor of the AWD version can rotate up to 30,511 rpm and still maintain a capacity of 702hp at 30,000 rpm.
