On December 9, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau said that according to the report on the results of implementing e-commerce development and digital transformation in trade promotion activities in 2025, the whole province of Ca Mau currently has 316 OCOP products of 147 entities, of which 100% of entities ensure food safety conditions according to regulations.
In 2025, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau supported OCOP entities to participate in many national and regional trade promotion events, and brought 104 products of 35 entities into supermarket systems inside and outside the province. Through e-commerce channels, some products successfully reached international markets such as Australia, Korea, Japan, EU, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Canada... This shows the clear effectiveness of digital transformation applications in the consumption of OCOP products.

In the field of collective economy, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau has reviewed and selected 24 cooperatives to participate in using Hanbai sales management software, coordinated to organize 5 training courses with 60 participants. At the same time, continued to support 20 cooperatives to apply FaceFarm electronic diary and WACA accounting software.
The implementation helps cooperatives standardize production data, perform traceability, cost accounting and more accurate financial management, contributing to the formation of a digital management model in agricultural production and business in Ca Mau province.

However, the implementation process still faces difficulties due to the lack of synchronization of information and telecommunications infrastructure in some rural areas, unstable Internet speed; many OCOP and cooperative entities lack resources to invest in equipment and technology for digitalization. In addition, the IT level and digital platform usage skills of cooperative staff and members are still limited, product profiles are not standardized, causing obstacles in e-commerce operations and digital trade promotion.
Based on the above practices, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau recommends strengthening propaganda about the benefits and trends of e-commerce, promoting intensive training courses for OCOP subjects and cooperatives. At the same time, continuing to invest and expand digital infrastructure in rural areas, creating conditions to promote comprehensive digital transformation in promoting agricultural trade in Ca Mau province.
