Singer Isaac becomes ambassador of the UpRace 2024 online charity running project

(NLDO) - The online charity running project UpRace 2024 will officially take place from September 20 to October 13 with two ambassadors, singer Isaac and athlete Tran Van Dang, expected to attract more than 4,000 participants.

In the 7th season, UpRace continues to choose the message "Journey of Happiness" as the criteria throughout the project, focusing on the experiences and emotions of participants, emphasizing the value of perseverance instead of focusing only on the final result.

After organizing the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund with the Vietnam Association for the Support of the Disabled and Orphans, UpRace 2024 welcomes for the first time the Vietnam Center for Supporting the Development of Maternal and Newborn Care (Newborn Vietnam, formerly known as Newborn Vietnam) to join the project. UpRace's support is expected to support the provision of resuscitation expertise to 120 Vietnamese lecturers and medical staff, helping to bring life opportunities to 800,000 newborns.

With the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, in the second consecutive year accompanying UpRace, this year's fund will continue to be used to realize the dream of going to school of 8,000 ethnic minority and island students in the 2024 - 2025 school year, making achievements to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and 10 years of operation of the Club "For Hoang Sa - Truong Sa".

Meanwhile, the Vietnam Association for the Support of Disabled People and Orphans hopes that UpRace 2024's contribution will create conditions for the Association to be able to donate 500 wheelchairs, as well as combine capital and livelihood support with a support level of 15 million VND/month for 80 disabled people, helping them create sustainable income and stabilize their lives.

Continuing the "Journey of Happiness", UpRace 2024 is accompanied by two ambassadors: Singer Isaac and athlete Tran Van Dang. In addition, UpRace 2024 also has the participation of many famous running clubs from all over the country such as: Garmin Run Club Vietnam, Adidas Runners Saigon, Adidas Runners Hanoi, DaNang Runners - ANTA (DNR-ANTA)...

The "offline" running event UpRace Day 2024 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 13 with the largest scale ever. It is expected that 4,000 people will participate in 3 distances: 5km, 10km and 21km.

In addition, this year's UpRace application will have many improvements in stability, helping to bring smooth experiences to participants. AI integration will continue to be used to detect unusual activities, set milestones for recording achievements using specialized devices... to increase accuracy when evaluating the race.

UpRace is an online running project for the community initiated and technically sponsored by VNG since 2018. For each km of running recorded on the UpRace application, VNG and sponsoring businesses (DMF Dream Creation Fund, CIMB Vietnam, Minh Long 1 Company Limited, Biti's Hunter, Kim Oanh Group, ACT Telecommunications Joint Stock Company, YouNet Media...) commit to donating at least 1,000 VND to social organizations.
