- Singer TANG PHUC: Thank you everyone for loving, following and encouraging Phuc throughout the journey. The program "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" 2024 has brought Phuc closer to the audience, helped Phuc receive a lot of love and from there reap many more meaningful milestones in his career.
Phuc cannot say whether he is satisfied or not at this moment, but only feels grateful to everyone, grateful for the achievements and also the difficulties that Phuc has gone through to deeply understand that "if we do not experience rainy days, it is difficult to fully feel the beauty of sunny days".
Phuc always believes that when we try our best, good things will come to us. For Phuc, the scary thing is not the challenges we have to face, but the moment we become weak in the face of difficulties. When we have enough will and courage, all hardships will turn into small things.
What does the "Male Icon Awards 2025" by Men's Folio Vietnam for " Music Artist of the Year" mean to you?
- That is the biggest award Phuc has received since the beginning of his career. The award has a great meaning in terms of recognition and affection that the audience has given Phuc. Everyone in the profession desires to have their own award and Phuc is no exception, because the award is the recognition from the public.
Every artist sets their own goals when pursuing art. This is both a motivation and a pressure. Embarking on an artistic path full of thorns and challenges, what is your biggest wish?
- Phuc's biggest wish is to be an artist, especially to live in the love of everyone. While living in that dream, Phuc realized that he still has many shortcomings that he must overcome to not disappoint the audience. I'm not young anymore, so maybe it's time to accelerate more strongly to reach my dream.
From a little-known singer, you have now become an artist with a "huge" fan base. Looking back on your journey, what experiences have you had? And in your opinion, what is the most important factor to succeed in your artistic career?
- Phuc does not dare to say that he has succeeded, because he feels that he has not really reached those two words. Phuc only knows that he is lucky to be loved and favored by everyone. For Phuc, to be what he is today is the effort of the whole team behind him. When people look at what Phuc has, they only see his efforts and hard work, but few know that behind Phuc is a whole team that is dedicating day and night for the common development.
.Persistence is what many people say when talking about Tang Phuc. He is also famous for knowing how to "please his fans". He also dares to try many new things to increase virality. Are you ever tired?
- Yes. I have to admit that I am not young anymore. Young singers and artists today are all very talented, possess many skills and are well-invested, so I also feel a lot of pressure. The pressure lies in having to always be fresh, maintain one's own identity, and at the same time not get caught up in trends or lose my composure before decisions. Many times, that really exhausts me.
He has the looks, the voice and a talented team. But why did it take so long for the name Tang Phuc to reach the audience?
- Everything has its reason, when the time is right everything will be fine, just keep trying. People appreciate Phuc's appearance, voice, good and hard-working crew, but showbiz is not just about Phuc, opportunities are shared equally among everyone. Maybe people favor and appreciate Phuc more than what he has.
.As a rare case that can "turn around" after many years of singing covers, who helped him find his true artist path?
- If we were to mention someone who has accompanied Phuc to where he is today, it would be none other than musician Huynh Quoc Huy. We have gone through a very long journey together, with constant efforts and creativity. As you can see, most of what Phuc performs is composed by Huy. In addition, Huy is also the one who guides, strategizes and accompanies Phuc in all projects.
After many years pursuing art, what have you gained?
- Phuc has a wealth of songs, a team that always works hard for him, PiFam (the name of the fan community of singer Tang Phuc), the love of the audience and many more things that can never be told. Phuc always feels proud of those things.
.It's been a long time since we've seen you release any new music. I heard that on December 10th, you'll be "blindly tearing the bag" which is very interesting, right?
- This is a special gift for the audience, and there will also be a surprise after a long time. Once again, Tang Phuc and singer Truong Thao Nhi will sing a duet of a song she composed.
What is your dream right now?
- Phuc only dreams of working, working continuously to earn a lot of money to help his family, and buy himself a house to settle down.
"Sometimes, Phuc also feels his confidence shaken when his efforts are not properly recognized. But Phuc still believes that "if you look at every problem with the most positive eyes, good things will come naturally."
