Businesses need to identify room for development to achieve double-digit growth.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of November 12, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province held a conference to evaluate the performance of state-owned enterprises and enterprises with state capital in 2025; set out directions and tasks for 2026 and the 2026-2030 period.

In the first 9 months of 2025, 18 enterprises with 100% charter capital owned by the State under the management of the province had a total investment capital of more than 4,386 billion VND. The enterprises have made efforts to maintain production and business; total revenue reached 1,126.4 billion VND, equal to 81.8% of the annual plan and increased by 19.5% over the same period in 2024. Pre-tax profit reached more than 130 billion VND. State budget contribution reached 333.4 billion VND. The total number of employees in the first 9 months of 2025 was 1,325 people; average income per employee reached about 15.8 million VND/month.

Enterprises with 51% of charter capital held by the State basically stabilized production and business with total revenue of more than 482.4 billion VND. The group of enterprises with less than 50% of charter capital held by the State achieved total revenue of nearly 1,500 billion VND.

Representatives of the units said that after implementing the arrangement of administrative units and deploying the 2-level local government model, companies encountered some difficulties in developing a project to arrange enterprises in which the State holds 100% of charter capital with similar functions and fields of operation; at the same time, they proposed some contents to support enterprises.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized: In the near future, the Central Government will issue a separate resolution on the arrangement of state-owned enterprises and enterprises with state capital to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. In that spirit, the province will conduct a review and implement it in a fundamental, methodical and breakthrough manner; at the same time, assign specific KPIs to each enterprise.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested each enterprise to proactively develop plans and solutions to implement targets and tasks for the 2026-2030 period; clearly identify development space to achieve double-digit growth in a feasible manner. Business leaders need to have innovative management thinking, promote the application of science and technology in production and business activities.

Regarding the issue of restructuring enterprises in the coming time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan requested departments and branches to accompany and support to help enterprises develop; contributing to helping Gia Lai province break through and develop with the whole country in the new term.
