Military units launch "Green Sunday"

* On July 20, Brigade 146, Naval Region 4 organized the program "Green Sunday" with the participation of many officers and soldiers on the islands of Truong Sa archipelago.

Officers, soldiers and people of Sinh Ton island participate in cleaning the beach.

At the island locations, officers and soldiers simultaneously mobilized to collect garbage, clean barracks, common living areas, take care of vegetable gardens, trees and clean the coastal area. Despite the harsh weather conditions, with a high sense of responsibility, the forces completed the proposed content well, clearly demonstrating their awareness of environmental protection, keeping the island green - clean - beautiful and sustainable.

* On the same day, the Youth Union of Brigade 101, Naval Region 4 organized "Green Sunday".

Nearly 1,000 cadres, union members, and women's union members of Brigade 101 conducted a general cleaning, clearing bushes, and cutting grass in areas within the unit with a length of more than 1.5km; dredged more than 7km of ditches; planted 50 new trees; embellished and strengthened the environmental landscape and youth works; collected nearly 0.5 tons of waste and disposed of it in accordance with regulations.

This is an activity within the framework of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign of the 101st Brigade's Youth Union, contributing to spreading awareness of environmental protection, welcoming the 14th Congress of the Navy Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 and towards celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of Brigade 101 (September 20, 1965 - September 20, 2025).
