(laichau.gov.vn) This morning (February 16th), Comrade Sung A Ho - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, led a working group along with provincial leaders, representatives of departments, agencies, mass organizations, and some businesses in the area to visit and present gifts to inpatients at Lai Chau Provincial General Hospital who are unable to return home for Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations in 2026.

Comrade Sung A Ho - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - presents gifts to patients receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.

At the treatment wards and departments, provincial leaders directly inquired about the health and living conditions of patients and their families, and extended New Year greetings, hoping that patients would feel secure in their treatment, trust in the medical team, and recover soon to return home to their families.

During the visit, 175 gift packages were distributed to patients, funded by the "For the Poor" fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and mobilized from the "Joining Hands for the Poor" movement of various organizations: the Red Cross Society, the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, Lai Chau Water Company, the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank, Cao Linh Pagoda of Hai Phong province, etc. The activity highlighted the spirit of "mutual support" and caring for the poor.

This activity contributes to boosting morale and giving patients more strength to overcome difficulties and conquer their illnesses.
