After listening to the leaders of the Department of Health briefly report on the results of work in 2023, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan commended and highly appreciated the outstanding results achieved by the health sector in the past year, typically completing well the tasks of caring for, protecting and improving people's health and 16/22 main socio -economic development targets assigned by the province, successfully controlling and containing infectious diseases; continuing to improve and enhance the quality of medical examination and treatment, developing grassroots health care.
Emphasizing the role and position of the health sector, he hoped that in 2024, the collective, cadres and employees of the entire sector would continue to make more efforts, overcome difficulties and challenges, be enthusiastic in their work, improve their qualifications and capacity, uphold medical ethics, meet the increasingly high requirements of medical examination and treatment, continue to affirm the leading role and importance in caring for and improving people's health, worthy of the trust and expectations of the province. The Provincial Party Secretary wished all cadres and employees of the health sector in the province good health and new successes in the new year.

Next, the Provincial Party Secretary visited and congratulated the following units: Ninh Binh City Medical Center, Provincial General Hospital, Provincial Cadre Health Care and Protection Board. At the units visited, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the efforts and highly appreciated the results achieved by the units in the past year, demonstrating the spirit and high responsibility of the staff of the medical units in the work of medical examination, treatment, care, protection and improvement of the health of cadres and people.
He hoped that in order to promote the achieved results, the units would continue to make more efforts, pay attention to training to improve the qualifications and skills of medical staff; focus on applying science and technology, developing new techniques to better meet the people's demand for high-quality medical examination and treatment, contributing to the care, protection and improvement of people's health.

In the coming time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Hospital to promote the unit's achievements in being awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces twice, and continue to further improve the quality of medical examination and treatment.
Coordinate with local military units to do a good job of mass mobilization work, aiming to have many skillful mass mobilization models, contributing to the implementation of political tasks of the unit in the area.

At the Provincial Eye Hospital and Tam Diep City Medical Center, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented flowers, congratulated and commended the results that medical units in the province have achieved in the past time.
With their responsibilities, medical units have focused on improving the quality of human resources, creating conditions for medical staff and doctors to study, improve their professional qualifications, participate in specialized courses, etc.

He suggested that the Board of Directors, staff, doctors and nurses of the units continue to unite, promote the sense of responsibility, practice medical ethics, constantly study to improve professional qualifications and skills, further improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, well implement Uncle Ho's teaching "A good doctor is like a mother", build green, clean and beautiful hospitals and medical centers, and contribute more actively to the task of protecting and taking care of people's health.
Appreciating the efforts and silent sacrifices of the medical staff and their families, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished the staff, doctors and their families good health, happiness, more love for their profession, and continued dedication to the noble profession they have chosen.
On the same afternoon, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and congratulated Meritorious Doctor Dinh Thi Minh Huong in Ninh Khanh ward (Ninh Binh city).
Meritorious Doctor Dinh Thi Minh Huong was the Director of Tam Diep Town General Hospital from 1992-1996 and Director of Tam Diep City Medical Center from 1996-2005; retired from June 2005.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited the health and life of the Meritorious Doctor and his family, and wished that Meritorious Doctor Dinh Thi Minh Huong would always be healthy and continue to make many contributions to the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.
