Mr. Dinh Xuan Dieu, Head of the Dak Lak Province Industrial Parks Management Board, said: Regarding the supporting industry, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board aims to attract investment projects, especially high-tech, environmentally friendly supporting industry projects to create a sustainable supply chain and reduce dependence on pure agriculture .
After the merger, Dak Lak province has 6 industrial parks, 22 industrial clusters, 1 economic zone and 1 high-tech agricultural zone. In the period of 2021-2025, the province's annual industrial production index maintained an average growth of 11.1%/year, reaching the target (average growth target of 11%/year), at a fairly good level compared to other provinces in the region and the national average. However, the contribution of the supporting industry to the province's industrial development is still modest. Up to now, the whole province has only 1 electronic enterprise processing sensors operating in the supporting industry sector and 17 textile and garment enterprises.
According to Mr. Dinh Xuan Dieu, the attraction of investment projects in the supporting industry to the province's industrial parks is being implemented in the direction of focusing on the supporting industry of agriculture and processing. Specifically, attracting supporting industry projects to serve the deep processing of the province's key agricultural products (coffee, pepper, rubber, cashew) in a green direction, minimizing emissions and using agricultural waste.

Along with that, Dak Lak province considers green supporting industries as the "key" to attracting FDI capital. Mr. Dinh Xuan Dieu said that the development of green industrial parks and green supporting industries is a competitive advantage to attract quality FDI capital.
Regarding preferential policies and land support for supporting industrial projects, the Dak Lak Industrial Park Management Board requested industrial park infrastructure investors to reserve land for supporting industrial projects.
