With only three weeks left until the 2026 Lunar New Year, Bien Hoa Market (Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province) has become a popular meeting place for young people in traditional ao dai dresses, capturing memorable moments of the holiday.

No need for elaborate settings or pre-made scenes; with just stalls selling red lanterns, couplets, conical hats, bamboo trays, etc., Bien Hoa market has become the perfect backdrop for Tet (Lunar New Year) photos.

From early morning, groups of young people arrived, dressed in traditional or modern ao dai (Vietnamese long dress), carrying wicker baskets and fresh flowers, blending into the bustling crowds of shoppers and vendors. These "muses" strolled around the market, taking photos, creating a vibrant springtime scene.

Minh Hoang and Thu Huong (residents of Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) said that they chose Bien Hoa market as the location for their Tet (Lunar New Year) photoshoot to preserve memories before the new year.
"The market still retains its old-fashioned charm; walking around, you can clearly feel the Tet atmosphere, quite different from modern places these days," Thu Huong shared.

According to many vendors, in recent years, the market has become busier in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year) thanks to the trend of young people seeking out traditional spaces to take photos and experience the atmosphere of Tet in the past.
"Some days, tourists come to take photos from morning till evening, while customers continue buying and selling as usual, making the market atmosphere much more lively," a vendor shared.

In another corner of Bien Hoa market, a "muse" wearing a modernized dress, lightly draped in a fur scarf and an elegant pearl necklace, accentuates the gentle, classic beauty of a lady from the past.

Friends in traditional ao dai dresses radiate beauty as they pose for photos next to a flower float at Bien Hoa market, showcasing a fresh and nostalgic Tet atmosphere from the past.
Ms. Thanh Tam (a resident of Tan Trieu ward), wearing a red ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), said that she and her friends took advantage of the days leading up to Tet to go to the market to take photos and preserve memories of the beginning of spring. "The market atmosphere creates a feeling of everyday Tet, authentic and suitable for capturing the first moments of the year."

A group of young people, dressed in traditional and modernized ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress), pose for a commemorative photo in front of the old buildings with the distinctive green wooden doors of Thanh Binh Cooperative at the market.

To celebrate his daughter's wedding, a father in Can Tho made his entire garden of apricot blossoms bloom early. More than 50 apricot trees simultaneously burst into bloom, creating a picturesque scene at the wedding of the bride from Can Tho.
