On behalf of the National Assembly leadership, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man respectfully acknowledged, commended, appreciated and thanked the positive contributions of female National Assembly deputies during the 15th National Assembly term.
Noting that there are only two days left for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly to end, the National Assembly Chairman asked delegates to continue to make the greatest efforts to fulfill the tasks assigned by voters and people.
The country in the new period sets very high requirements. The National Assembly Chairwoman hopes that: Regardless of their position, female delegates will continue to contribute to the National Assembly, so that the National Assembly can continuously grow, promote its role and function of constitution-making, legislation, supreme supervision and deciding on important issues of the country.
The National Assembly Chairwoman asked female deputies of the 15th National Assembly to pay attention to sharing experiences and supporting female candidates with knowledge and skills in building action programs, election campaigns and parliamentary activities.
Stating that there is not much time left until the Election Day of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the National Assembly Chairman believes that the National Assembly agencies will work with the highest spirit and responsibility, contributing to achieving the rate of female deputies participating in the 16th National Assembly equal to that of the 15th National Assembly, more than 30%.

Previously, reporting to the National Assembly Chairwoman and delegates, Chairwoman of the National Assembly Women Deputies Group Nguyen Thuy Anh said: Over the past nearly 5 years, together with the entire National Assembly, female National Assembly deputies have demonstrated steadfastness, sharp intelligence and kind hearts, making important contributions to the work of legislation, supervision and passing of decisions that determine the fate of the country.
In any position, female National Assembly deputies always promote the noble qualities of Vietnamese women, strive to study, practice, improve, be close, attached, reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters to the National Assembly, increasingly affirming the position and role of people's representatives, worthy of the trust of voters. Female deputies are increasingly confident, courageous, deeply involved in all fields, improving the quality of criticism and persuasiveness.
According to the report, during the 15th National Assembly term, the proportion of female deputies reached 30.6%, 100% of female deputies had a university degree or higher; 79.5% had a post-graduate degree. The group of female deputies of the 15th National Assembly marked a strong development in both quantity and quality.
The role and voice of female delegates are not only limited to the social field or gender equality, but have expanded and demonstrated their mettle in key and complex issues of political-economic-social life: macroeconomics, finance-budget, land, national defense-security and foreign affairs.

In recent times, the Group of Women Deputies of the 15th National Assembly has actively participated in parliamentary foreign affairs activities such as: forums of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarians' Forum, the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly; and actively participated in organizing multilateral parliamentary forums in Vietnam.
The social activities of the 15th National Assembly Women Delegates Group have created a good impression, spreading the spirit of charity, humanity, and responsibility to the community, especially the series of "Zero-VND Market" activities held periodically in many difficult areas across the country...
