The whole country launched a campaign to support people in overcoming flood consequences.

Over the past week, many fundraising activities have been organized to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces to overcome the consequences of floods.
On the afternoon of November 24, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, together with the Government leaders and the Government Office, organized a ceremony to launch a fundraising campaign to support people in disaster-hit areas, and requested the prompt completion of a draft Resolution on tasks and solutions to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, stabilize people's lives and restore production. On the same day, at the National Assembly House, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien attended the ceremony to present support funds from Hanoi to the three provinces of Dak Lak, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa. The Central Propaganda and Education Commission and the Central Internal Affairs Commission also launched a campaign to donate at least one day's salary to share the difficulties with people in severely damaged areas. A working delegation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front directly went to Dak Lak to visit and present gifts to support people.
The Ministry of Education and Training informed that the total damage in 5 provinces of the South Central and Central Highlands was more than 97.5 billion VND, and at the same time, it deployed free textbook distribution to students in flood-affected areas. The Vietnam Education Publishing House has prepared 10 million copies of books to supply, completed support for Dak Lak and continued to deploy in other localities.
On November 25, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien attended the ceremony to hand over support funds from Phu Tho province to provinces affected by floods; the total number of registered donations through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee reached more than VND 2,088.5 billion. On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc signed an official dispatch on insurance policies to support people and businesses affected by losses; many Central Party agencies continued to launch fundraising campaigns. The Ministry of Health organized support for people in flood-affected areas and received 20 tons of disinfectant chemicals from the Vietnam Chemical Group.
Localities responded actively: Dong Nai sent a working group to support Dak Lak; Ho Chi Minh City supported Khanh Hoa with meals, essential goods and funds; Gia Lai Provincial Police mobilized more than 1.3 billion VND and dozens of tons of necessities. Hanoi City added 200 billion VND to the initial emergency support for Gia Lai, contributing to helping the locality overcome the consequences of natural disasters...
Timely resource mobilization not only helps people stabilize their lives soon but also creates motivation for localities to restore production, rebuild infrastructure and minimize losses after natural disasters.
Autumn Economic Forum 2025: An opportunity to introduce Vietnam's image to the world

The Autumn Economic Forum 2025 with the theme “Green transformation in the digital age” will take place from November 25 to 27, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City. The Forum has historical significance: For the first time, Vietnam has coordinated with the World Economic Forum to organize it, creating the premise for it to become an annual Autumn Economic Forum in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Forum has an impressive scale and stature, with more than 1,500 delegates, nearly 100 international delegations; 10 Industrial Revolution 4.0 centers and more than 75 science, technology and innovation centers worldwide. Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum
On the morning of November 25, in Quang Ninh, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum with the theme "Accompanying Comprehensive Development - Creating a Sustainable Future"; worked with: Mr. Yamamoto Ichita, Governor of Gunma Prefecture, Japan; Mr. Takebe Tsutomu, Special Advisor to the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance and the delegation of Japanese localities attending the Forum.
The forum concretizes the contents agreed upon by the two countries' senior leaders to strengthen the Vietnam - Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership; establish a regular dialogue and connection mechanism, contributing to enhancing exchanges, sharing of experiences and promoting substantive cooperation, bringing harmonious benefits to both sides.
Within the framework of the Forum, there were more than 100 activities connecting and working between the parties. The Vietnam - Japan local exhibition was also held with more than 40 booths displaying typical local products of Vietnam - Japan and an area for cultural exchange and experience between the two countries.

24th Vietnam Film Festival: Vietnamese Cinema - Sustainable Development and International Integration in the New Era

The 24th Vietnam Film Festival, taking place from November 21 to 25, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, is a special national cultural and artistic event in 2025. With the slogan "Vietnamese Cinema - Sustainable Development and International Integration in the New Era", the event not only honors outstanding works but also affirms the mettle and aspiration for integration of Vietnamese cinema in the era of digital transformation and globalization. The work "Red Rain" by Military Cinema has won the Golden Lotus - the highest award in the Feature Film category.
This year’s Vietnam Film Festival selected 144 outstanding films from 42 units. The competition program included 16 feature films, 36 documentaries, 14 scientific films and 21 animated films. The festival also had 57 films of various genres included in the panoramic film program.
A special highlight of the event was UNESCO's official recognition of Ho Chi Minh City as a Global Creative City of Cinema, recognizing the city's efforts in developing the cultural industry, film production infrastructure and its potential to become a regional cinema center.

Hanoi 'finalizes' time to ban gasoline motorbikes in Ring Road 1 according to time frame
Hanoi City will start implementing low-emission zones from July 1, 2026, piloting in some areas within Ring Road 1, including 9 wards: Hai Ba Trung, Cua Nam, Hoan Kiem, O Cho Dua, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Ba Dinh, Giang Vo, Ngoc Ha and Tay Ho.
In this area, the city stops new investment and strictly controls new registration of vehicles using fossil fuels, especially those belonging to agencies and organizations; and completely bans trucks over 3.5 tons running on fossil fuels from entering the area.
For gasoline-powered motorbikes: motorbikes using technology applications will be banned from circulating in low-emission zones; other types of motorbikes will be restricted or banned depending on time frames. The city will also gradually reduce and eventually ban cars that do not meet level 4 emission standards from entering the area according to the prescribed time or scope.
From January 1, 2028, the low-emission zone will be expanded to the entire belt 1 and some areas in belt 2 with 14 wards, including 9 wards in belt 1 and wards of Lang, Dong Da, Kim Lien, Bach Mai and Vinh Tuy.
From January 1, 2030, the scope will continue to expand to the area from Ring Road 3 and inwards with 36 wards and communes, including 14 wards in Ring Road 2 and the following wards and communes: Phu Thuong, Xuan Dinh, Nghia Do, Cau Giay, Yen Hoa, Thanh Xuan, Khuong Dinh, Dinh Cong, Phuong Liet, Tuong Mai, Hoang Mai, Vinh Hung, Long Bien, Phuc Loi, Viet Hung, Bo De, Phu Dong, Dong Anh, Thu Lam, Phuc Thinh, Vinh Thanh and Noi Bai.
