Organizations and units distribute Tet gifts in various localities.

On the afternoon of February 8th, at An Vuong Center Supermarket in An Tuong Ward, Tuyen Quang Province, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor organized the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" program.

Attending the program were Comrade Trieu Tai Phong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; leaders of the Party Committee and People's Council of An Tuong ward; the Trade Union of Binh Thuan ward, along with 150 union members and workers.

The program is for 500 union members and workers with outstanding achievements in labor and production, and active participation in union activities from 6 units: MSA YB Co., Ltd., Seshin VN2 Co., Ltd., Road Construction Joint Stock Company 232, Hiep Phu Co., Ltd., Vien Chau Tunnel Brick Joint Stock Company, and G-Star Shoe Co., Ltd.

On the opening day, 150 union members were able to shop directly at the supermarket; the rest received shopping vouchers to be used during opening hours from 8 am to 10 pm daily, until 10 pm on February 10, 2026.

“Trade Union Tet Market – Spring 2026” is a practical activity that contributes to the effective implementation of social welfare work; demonstrating timely care, sharing, and encouragement for union members and workers to enjoy the Spring Festival and celebrate Tet, while spreading the spirit of solidarity with the message “All union members and workers will have Tet,” and “No one will be left behind.”

On the afternoon of February 8th, the Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, in coordination with the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, organized a Tet gift-giving ceremony for victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards.

At the event, the organizers presented 65 Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts to disadvantaged victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, each worth 500,000 VND. These gifts demonstrate the care and sharing of all levels of government, sectors, and the business community towards the victims, helping to encourage their families to celebrate a warm and meaningful Lunar New Year.

This activity carries profound humanitarian significance, reflecting the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source," and working together to care for the lives of those affected by Agent Orange/Dioxin, contributing to the effective implementation of social welfare work in the area.

On February 8th, at Hop Hoa Junior High School, Good Neighbors International (GNI) of South Korea organized the 2026 Child Protection Communication Day. Attending the event were local Party and government leaders, teachers, and over 500 students from Tan Thanh commune.

At the festival, students participated in many rich and practical activities and experiences, focusing on developing essential skills such as: communication skills, creative thinking; prevention and combating school violence, domestic violence, and child abuse; and mental health care. The awareness-raising content was integrated through competitions in short plays and booths showcasing local specialties, meticulously prepared by villages and schools in the commune.

As part of the program, the organizing committee launched a running race, a volleyball tournament, and a "piggy bank of love" fundraising campaign to donate gifts and presented 83 gifts to children in extremely difficult circumstances in Tan Thanh commune.

Through this event, we aim to raise awareness about children's rights; prevent and combat violence, abuse, and injuries against children; and create a safe and healthy playground for children to participate, express their voices, and share their dreams. This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating GNI's concern and support in the care, protection, and development of children in the local area within the project region.
