How to register for university admission online in 2025

Immediately after knowing the high school graduation exam scores, candidates can start registering for admission an unlimited number of times until 5:00 p.m. on July 28.

From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, all candidates, including direct admission candidates, must register their university admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's system at: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/Account/Login.

VietNamNet provides detailed instructions on the registration process for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system for candidates' reference. Note that candidates need to complete all these steps to ensure the completion of the registration process for admission in 2025.

Step 1: After logging into the system, candidates access the menu Register for admission information .

Step 2: On screen 1. List of direct admission wishes , the system displays the direct admission wishes.

Candidates select the direct admission wish (if they want to register for direct admission wish), enter the order of direct admission wish according to their needs and then click the Next button.

Step 3: On screen 2. Add wishes , candidates review the selected wishes. Note that wishes without the status Recorded NV on screen 2 are wishes that have not been saved.

Candidates can click the Add wish button to add wishes on screen 2.

Candidates can edit/delete their wishes by clicking the Add/Edit wish icon on screen 2.

Step 4: Click the Next button on screen 2. Add wish .

Step 5: On screen 3. Enter OTP , candidates compose a message to get the OTP code according to the instructions. Then enter the verification code and press the Confirm registration button.

Step 6: Candidates check the registered wishes on screen 4. View the list of registered wishes to check the registration information again.

To edit admission application information, candidates perform the following steps:

Step 1: After logging into the system, candidates access the menu Register for admission information . On screen 4. View the list of registered wishes, candidates click Edit to edit wishes.

Step 2: Candidates edit their application information and click Save information .

Step 3: Click the Next button on screen 2. Add wish .

Step 4: On screen 3. Enter OTP , candidates compose a message to get the OTP code according to the instructions, then enter the verification code and press the Confirm registration button.

Step 5: Candidates check the registered wishes on screen 4. View the list of registered wishes to check the information again.

To delete an application, candidates perform the following steps:

Step 1: After logging into the system, candidates access the menu Register for admission information. On screen 4. View the list of registered wishes to check the recorded wishes. Candidates click Delete to delete the wish.

Step 2: The system displays a confirmation screen to delete the application, the candidate clicks the Delete button.

Step 3: On screen 3. Enter OTP . Candidates compose a message to get the OTP code according to the instructions. Then enter the verification code and press the Confirm registration button.

Step 4: Candidates check the registered wishes on screen 4. View the list of registered wishes to check the information again.

To change the order of recorded wishes, candidates perform the following steps:

Step 1: After logging into the system, candidates access the menu Register for admission information . On screen 4. View the list of registered wishes , candidates click Sort by wish order.

Step 2: Make changes to the desired order.

Step 3: After editing the information, the candidate clicks Next on screen 2. Add wishes .

Step 4: On screen 3. Enter OTP, candidates compose a message to get the OTP code according to the instructions, then enter the verification code and press the Confirm registration button.

Step 5: Candidates check the registered wishes on screen 4. View the list of registered wishes to check the information again.

The system also has a function that allows users to print a list of registered wishes to save as evidence.

According to regulations, candidates must pay the registration fee for admission wishes online on the system. Candidates access the menu Register for admission information . On screen 4. View the list of registered wishes, click the Payment button and see detailed payment instructions in the online payment instructions.

Without completing this step, the candidate's application process is considered incomplete.

According to the admission process, at 5:00 p.m. on August 20, training institutions will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule.

Admitted candidates, including direct candidates, must confirm their admission (if they wish to study) before 5:00 p.m. on August 30 on the Ministry of Education and Training's general admission support system. Admitted candidates who do not confirm their admission will be considered to have refused admission.
