Each officer and soldier of the Vietnam Coast Guard has concretized this through practical actions: maintaining a high state of combat readiness, focusing on improving training quality, strengthening patrols, control, and law enforcement in assigned maritime areas; continuing to tighten discipline, manage ideology, and take care of the soldiers' lives…
In an interview with us, Colonel Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of the Coast Guard, said: "In recent days, all agencies and units throughout the force have been actively promoting a vibrant emulation movement, determined to successfully complete all assigned tasks. The forces on combat readiness maintain strict discipline, remain highly vigilant, and promptly handle situations at sea, preventing any passive or unexpected situations. Along with that, the emulation movement for decisive victory, the work of building a regular force, training discipline, and Party and political work activities have all been implemented synchronously, closely linked to the key political tasks of each agency and unit."

Along with combat readiness and training, units throughout the force also implemented many practical activities: intensifying the fight against crime, drugs, and human trafficking; combating smuggling, commercial fraud, and counterfeit goods before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse 2026; maintaining agricultural production and improving the lives of soldiers; building a green, clean, and beautiful environment; and caring for the families of soldiers. Mass organizations enthusiastically competed: youth union members undertook challenging tasks; women's associations linked the "Excellent in national work, capable in household work" movement with caring for warm and happy families; creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm throughout the force.

Colonel Le Huy, Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, shared: Looking towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command always maintain strict duty rosters, patrols, and high combat readiness, ensuring firm security and safety in the assigned sea areas. We have absolute confidence in the leadership of the Party and believe that the 14th Congress will make correct and timely decisions on protecting maritime sovereignty and islands in the new situation, contributing to building and firmly defending the Fatherland.
With unwavering faith in the Party's leadership, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard believe that the 14th National Congress of the Party will be a resounding success and will formulate major policies, further strengthening national unity and leading the country forward in the new era. This will contribute to ushering in a new period of development, building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army, and firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Sharing that same spirit of determination, Captain Le Viet Anh, Commander of the CSB 8002 vessel, 21st Squadron, 2nd Coast Guard Region Command, confided: "The CSB 8002 vessel is currently on combat readiness duty in the Sinh Ton Dong area. The entire crew is looking forward to the 14th National Congress of the Party with the highest spirit, determination, and responsibility in carrying out their duties at this very special time. The entire ship maintains a strict duty roster, high combat readiness, and upholds discipline to avoid being caught off guard in any situation."
This is not only a promise and a political determination of the officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, but also a political activity of special significance, contributing to building the character, sense of responsibility, and pride of the Coast Guard soldiers.
