HNN.VN - After 12 days of carrying out the mission of helping the government and people of Hue City overcome the consequences of floods, on the afternoon of November 11, more than 500 officers and soldiers of Division 968 (Military Region 4) basically completed the mission and withdrew to their units.

After 12 days of carrying out the mission, the unit overcame the consequences in 10 wards and communes, focusing on supporting schools, medical facilities, hospitals, martyrs' cemeteries, markets, and traffic routes with many tasks: dredging mud, cleaning up garbage, arranging tables and chairs, cleaning school supplies, dredging and clearing canals, irrigation, etc. In addition, the unit also helped people harvest crops and gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances in the area.

During the implementation of the mission, the officers and soldiers always demonstrated their bravery and spirit of solidarity "forgetting themselves for the people", actively staying close to the base, overcoming all weather conditions, deploying forces and means to the right focus and key points. The officers and soldiers of the Division always strictly obeyed the orders of commanders at all levels, maintained strict discipline, exemplary working style, worked urgently, effectively and ensured absolute safety for people and means.
