Agribank staff and employees donated 1 day's salary to join hands with localities and people affected by storms and floods. The estimated amount of donations is over 20 billion VND. Promoting the tradition of great national solidarity, responding to the call of General Secretary, President To Lam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", the Trade Union of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam ( Agribank ) launched a campaign for all staff and employees to donate 1 day's salary to support localities and people to overcome difficulties. The estimated amount of donations is over 20 billion VND. With the donations of staff and employees across the system, Agribank hopes to mobilize more resources with the political system and localities to support compatriots and people in storm and flood areas to quickly overcome the damage. Previously, at the launching ceremony of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Agribank donated 2 billion VND, along with the banking industry, to support people affected by storm No. 3. By September 12, the entire Agribank system had donated more than 17 billion VND to support the work of overcoming the consequences of the storm. Although the operations of many branches and transaction offices were also affected, and facilities were damaged by storms, rain and floods, promoting the role of corporate responsibility towards the community, Agribank implemented many meaningful activities, accompanying localities and people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
