Air Force Regiment 920 (Regiment 920), under the Air Force Officer School, is the unit that took over Phan Thiet military airport (in Mui Ne Ward, Lam Dong) from August 2024. At that time, many infrastructure items of Phan Thiet military airport were not completed.
Despite many difficulties when taking over the new airport in the harsh climate conditions of the Phan Thiet - Mui Ne coastal area, officers and soldiers of Regiment 920 still strived to overcome the challenges, promoted their sense of responsibility and professional experience, and quickly mastered the infrastructure, equipment and operating procedures at the new airport.
During 50 years of formation and development, under the leadership of the Party and the State, directly the Ministry of National Defense , the Air Defense - Air Force and the Air Force Officer School, Regiment 920 has achieved many achievements, been awarded many certificates of merit, medals, noble medals and valuable awards from the Ministry of National Defense for the army's excellent pilot training unit.
