Thai Hoa is a scattered area, many residential areas are scattered among high hills, rivers, and streams, making it difficult to plan roads. The inter-village and inter-hamlet roads were formed a long time ago, the road surface is small, the slope is large, many sections are winding and often landslides when it rains heavily. Investment in solidification in these areas requires much larger capital than in flat terrain. Meanwhile, the commune budget is difficult, the annual capital allocated by superiors is limited for synchronous implementation, and socialized resources are difficult to mobilize because people's lives still face many difficulties.

The route from the intersection with National Highway 2C (Km42+600) Chang Bridge to Ba Lang area is seriously degraded, causing difficulties for people to travel and transport agricultural products.
The route from the intersection with National Highway 2C (Km42+600) Chang Bridge to Ba Lang area is a typical example. The road is more than 3km long, the dirt road surface has been plowed, creating many potholes. In the dry season, the dust flies up, affecting people's lives; in the rainy season, the road becomes slippery, muddy, and has sections with strong currents due to the lack of a drainage system. Ms. Phan Thi Cham in Tay Son village said that on rainy days, vehicles traveling on this route are very difficult. Families with small children taking their children to school on this section is very dangerous. We hope the road will be renovated so that people can travel more conveniently.
The deterioration of the road not only makes it difficult to travel but also affects the transportation of agricultural products and materials for people's production. Also in the past time, due to the impact of storms, landslides on the positive slopes and open mouths on the negative slopes on the roads in the villages of Vinh Quang, Dai Luong, and Rung Khang, causing danger to vehicles when participating in traffic and affecting the safety of property of people in the commune.
Comrade Phung The Hai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Thai Hoa commune said: "We identify transportation as a key factor, playing a role in connecting production, trading goods, and improving people's lives. However, the commune still faces many difficulties in allocating resources. Currently, the total investment demand for the commune's key roads is up to tens of billions of VND, while the ability to balance the local budget is very limited. The commune is gradually reviewing and prioritizing investment according to the level of urgency and continuing to mobilize people to join in the policy of donating land and joining hands to expand transportation."
In recent times, the commune has actively integrated capital sources from the National Target Program on New Rural Development, capital support from Lap Thach district (old) and proposed Vinh Phuc province (old) to consider supporting routes that are important in production development and serving people's lives. However, to achieve the goal of completing the traffic infrastructure according to the plan, the locality really needs strong participation from all levels, sectors, and greater consensus from the people.
Currently, Thai Hoa commune is implementing many solutions to overcome the deterioration of existing roads. In particular, the commune focuses on building a drainage system, upgrading severely damaged road surfaces, and at the same time, strengthening propaganda to raise people's awareness in protecting traffic roads after investment. The commune also calls on local businesses to join hands to contribute and support materials and machinery to speed up construction progress.
Despite many obstacles, the development of rural transport in Thai Hoa commune is gradually making positive changes. A number of inter-village and inter-hamlet roads have been completed and put into use, helping to shorten travel time, reduce production costs and facilitate the exchange of goods. When the transport system is completed synchronously, it will be an important foundation for Thai Hoa to exploit land potential, develop sustainable socio -economy, improve people's lives, and soon complete the new rural criteria in the next phase.
