| The scenery on the lake is beautiful but difficult to promote because of the concave waves. |
In addition to exploiting the picturesque landscape of the lake, travel agencies also take tourists to ethnic minority villages living on the lakeside. Many groups of tourists coming here commented that the Na Hang - Lam Binh ecological lake is beautiful but not well known to many people. According to tourists , the frequency of images of the ecological lake appearing live on social networks is not much, because this area does not have 4G, 5G internet signal. Livestream activities cannot be carried out, so an important promotional channel is lost.
During a survey of the lake to find a filming location, on the way back, the motorboat carrying the filmmakers broke down. The boat owner tried his best to repair it, but the boat still broke down 7 times. As darkness began to fall, there was no 4G signal, greatly affecting the rescue work. Fortunately, at nearly 9 p.m., the motorboat repaired itself and headed to the dock, to the relief of the whole crew.
Recently, the seminar "Heritage Journey - Connecting the quintessence, sustainable development" organized by the Provincial Tourism Promotion Center on the Phoenix cruise ship in the Na Hang - Lam Binh ecological lake area, many opinions of delegates representing travel companies, tourism businesses, and local authorities reflected on the inadequate situation of the Na Hang - Lam Binh ecological lake area not having internet signal, greatly affecting the promotion, as well as the convenience and safety when designing tours, especially adventure, discovery and experience tours. In addition to the traffic route, the "wave depression" area is also the reason why foreign tourists rarely come to this area. Because according to some local homestays, Western tourists like to explore, so they need mobile signal to connect, locate, lack of signal if lost in the primeval forest is very dangerous, so having internet signal is also a safe travel solution for tourists.
Currently in Tuyen Quang, there are 3 main internet service providers: VNPT,FPT and Viettel. However, only Viettel reaches remote areas of the province, concentrated in the center of communes running into villages. In particular, the Na Hang - Lam Binh ecological lake area is large and long, so it is very difficult for businesses to invest. The reason is that the cost of building and operating a BTS station is up to billions of VND but the coverage is not far, so to have a wide range of waves, many BTS stations must be built. Meanwhile, BTS stations must have a stable grid power source to operate, and when there is a power outage, there must be a backup generator. The problem here is still the power source, construction costs, operating costs and capital recovery.
Delegates at the Seminar said that urgently providing internet coverage for the reservoir area is an urgent task. It is recommended that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism synthesize opinions and advise the province to develop a project to cover the reservoir area with internet. When there is a project, the province will determine resources, find solutions to coordinate with the province's telecommunications enterprises, and be determined to work for the common good, harmonizing economic and social interests.
Mr. Hoa Van Ba, owner of Ba Ngan homestay, Thuong Lam commune, said that local tourism workers have been waiting for this for a long time. If the dream of having internet signal in the Na Hang-Lam Binh ecological lake area is realized, tourist activities will be very convenient. Landscapes such as Coc Vai, Khuoi Nhi waterfall, Khuoi Sung, Nam Me, Bai Phung, the old Thuy Loa area, the foot of Ai Au pass... will be strongly promoted, tourists will know more about the land and people here. We hope that the relevant departments and businesses will join in, turning a region with rich tourism potential into a region worthy of the title of Special National Scenic Spot.
