Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien, representatives of leaders of several central and local ministries, departments, branches; leaders, staff, lecturers and students of Hanoi University of Industry attended the ceremony.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien acknowledged, congratulated and thanked the contributions of teachers and students of Hanoi University of Industry over the past years.

Currently, the school has over 1,500 staff, lecturers and employees, more than 35,000 students studying in 11 doctoral programs, 14 master's programs and 62 undergraduate programs. After 127 years of construction and development, the school has always maintained its position as a top school in applied engineering and technology, and is evaluated by the Ministry of Education and Training as one of the pioneering models in university autonomy, digital transformation and international cooperation.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that, in the context of the country implementing Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, each teacher of the school will continue to be a pioneer in innovating content, teaching methods, and training closely linked to production and business practices. At the same time, it will arouse students' enthusiasm for learning and scientific research, adapting to the modern educational environment associated with digital transformation in all activities of social life.

The school board needs to continue to conduct thorough research and propose specific and feasible solutions to effectively implement the educational philosophy: Learning goes hand in hand with practice; the school is closely linked to society; scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation, digital transformation; and access to modern international education.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien emphasized: In today's era, being good at a new profession is a necessary condition. Learning foreign languages, digital technology , and soft skills is necessary to be able to confidently integrate into modern society, artificial intelligence, and digital technology.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Principal of Hanoi University of Industry, shared: For Hanoi University of Industry, transforming the model, training in multiple disciplines and fields, promoting research and entrepreneurship is to vividly implement the spirit of Resolution 71. At the same time, in the development journey, the school not only looks to the future but also stays close to its roots. At Hanoi University of Industry, combining modern knowledge and skills with good traditional values such as "respecting teachers", patriotism, and the spirit of great solidarity is a concrete expression of "learning to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture".

Hanoi University of Industry is always proud to be the common home of solidarity, sharing and humanity. Teachers and students come from all over the country, from the plains to the mountains, from the cities to the remote areas, from the Kinh people to the ethnic minorities, studying, creating and looking towards the future. The school has many teachers who are ethnic minorities, and thousands of students who are children of ethnic minorities who are constantly striving, becoming the pride of their families, their hometowns and Hanoi University of Industry.

Mr. Kieu Xuan Thuc said: Implementing the Development Strategy for the period 2025-2030, vision 2035, Hanoi University of Industry focuses on 4 key tasks: Innovating university governance thinking, enhancing autonomy, linking training with production practices, business needs and the digital economy ; Promoting scientific research, technology transfer, creative startups, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence, renewable energy, automation, smart manufacturing, contributing to promoting green transformation and national digital transformation; Developing a team of highly qualified, dedicated, creative and internationally integrated teachers and managers; Building a happy, humane and connected learning environment, where each person is respected, encouraged and developed comprehensively.

On this occasion, 15 ethnic minority students and ethnic minority students with high academic results received encouragement gifts from the leaders of the Party, State and school.
