The conference aims to promote the democratic rights of voters in selecting and nominating qualified, capable, and competent individuals to represent the will and aspirations of the people in the highest state power organs. Based on the allocation of numbers, structure, and composition as guided by higher authorities and the Company's Plan No. 95/KH-CHP dated January 16, 2026, the personnel nomination process is conducted rigorously, openly, transparently, and in accordance with legal regulations.
At the conference, voters were informed about the standards for National Assembly representatives according to the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly; they also heard brief biographies and work histories of the candidates expected to be nominated.
With a spirit of responsibility, democracy, and frankness, 100% of the voters present unanimously voted to nominate two comrades to run for election to the 16th National Assembly, including: Comrade To Dinh Son, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company; and Comrade Nguyen Thi Thuy, Head of the Administrative and Organizational Department, Member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Hai Phong Port Towing and Transportation Joint Stock Company.
These are exemplary officials with strong political qualities, good morals, professional competence, and practical experience; they consistently excel in their assigned tasks and enjoy high prestige among the staff and workers throughout the Port.
The successful nomination of two candidates with unanimous support demonstrates the high level of unity and consensus among the leadership and employees of Hai Phong Port, contributing to the overall success of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
