Flash flood and landslide warning in 38 communes of Thanh Hoa province

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has just issued a warning of flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence due to heavy rain or water flow in the two provinces of Son La and Thanh Hoa.

Accordingly, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. today (July 19), Son La and Thanh Hoa provinces had moderate to heavy rain.

In the next 3-6 hours, these areas will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall ranging from 30-60mm, in some places over 90mm.

Warning in the next 6 hours there is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in Son La and Thanh Hoa .

In Thanh Hoa province, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting issued warnings for the following areas: Ba Thuoc, Cam Tan, Cam Thach, Cam Thuy, Cam Tu, Co Lung, Dien Lu, Dien Quang, Dong Luong, Hien Kiet, Hoi Xuan, Linh Son, Muong Lat, Muong Ly, Muong Min, Na Meo, Nam Xuan, Phu Le, Phu Xuan, Pu Luong, Quan Son, Quy Luong, Son Dien, Son Thuy, Tam Chung, Tam Lu, Tam Thanh, Thach Quang, Thien Phu, Thiet Ong, Trung Ha, Trung Ly, Trung Son, Trung Thanh, Van Nho, Van Phu, Yen Khuong, Yen Thang.

Warning level of natural disaster risk due to flash floods, landslides, land subsidence due to rain, floods or water flow: Level 1.
