On November 27, at Phu Quoc special zone ( An Giang province), the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to summarize Coast Guard work in 2025.
The report at the conference showed that in 2025, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 Command were united, overcame difficulties, and strived to complete all assigned tasks well and excellently.
Accordingly, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 monitored and directed 256 ships and boats to carry out missions at sea, traveling over 71,000 nautical miles safely; seized more than 2 million liters of DO oil, more than 230 tons of urea, 30 tons of sugar, more than 8 tons of seafood; prosecuted 2 cases of "organizing illegal exit for others"...
In addition, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command also presided over and coordinated the fight against and arrested 9 cases of illegal possession, trading, and transportation of narcotics. With the achievements in 2025, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command was awarded many certificates of merit by the Supreme People's Court, the Ministry of National Defense , the Vietnam Coast Guard, and localities; achieved the title of "exemplary model" comprehensive strong unit; and was proposed by the Vietnam Coast Guard to the Ministry of National Defense to award the Emulation Flag in 2025.
Major General Dam Xuan Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard, gave a speech at the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Dam Xuan Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard, acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the achievements that the Coast Guard Region 4 Command had achieved in 2025; at the same time, requested the unit to continue promoting its advantages and strengths, focusing on implementing a number of contents well in 2026 such as: Continuing to strictly maintain combat readiness regime; promoting and improving training quality; promoting administrative procedure reform, digital transformation; focusing on effectively implementing the fight against crimes and violations at sea...

On this occasion, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 awarded prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to win in 2025.
At the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Dung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, thoroughly grasped and deployed the resolution on leadership in implementing the 2026 tasks of the Region Party Committee with comprehensive and specific leadership policies and measures on all aspects of work to lead and direct the building of a comprehensively strong Region Command "exemplary model", successfully completing all assigned tasks in 2026.
