On the morning of January 14th, the Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4, Department 6, Traffic Police Bureau (based in Nghe An province; sub-team in Quang Tri province ) announced that they had promptly assisted a pregnant woman in giving birth on her way to the hospital.
At approximately 6:00 AM on the same day, the task force of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4, led by Major Uong Van Diep, was in the process of returning to their unit after their shift.
Upon reaching kilometer 995 of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, at the intersection with the Vung Ang-Bung-Van Ninh-Cam Lo expressway (Dong Hoi interchange, Quang Tri province), the task force encountered a car with license plate 73A-332.04.
At that time, Mr. Nguyen Van Sy (residing in Le Thuy commune, Quang Tri province) was driving a car carrying Ms. NTKH, who was in labor.
In response to the emergency, the task force used a police escort to promptly transport Ms. H to the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital (located in Dong Hoi ward).
During the journey, Ms. H gave birth to a baby boy weighing approximately 3.2 kg. Currently, both mother and baby are receiving attentive medical care and are in stable health.
