The pristine "stone forest" of Tua Chua
Although it does not have many massive mountain ranges, thick density of cat ear rocks and diverse vegetation like Dong Van stone plateau, Tua Chua stone plateau still fascinates visitors with its intact, rustic beauty.

Traveling about 35km from Tua Chua town to the plateau, visitors will pass through a steep, winding mountain road along the vertical cliffs.
With a length of about 4km and located at an altitude of 1,400m above sea level, seen from above, the stone plateau stands out with its layered, sturdy, majestic cat-ear stone slabs between heaven and earth.
The higher you go, the more difficult the road becomes, but visitors will experience the feeling of "cloud hunting", clouds covering the top of their heads, the earth and sky seem to blend together.

"The scenery still retains its original features and makes people feel light-hearted, dispelling the fatigue of the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
During that trip, we were also taken to the ancient Shan Tuyet tea forest in Sin Chai commune, Tua Chua district (about 60km from the rocky plateau) to admire the tea trees that are hundreds of years old and recognized as Vietnam Heritage Trees. In particular, we also had the opportunity to celebrate the wedding of two young Dao people in Tua Chua," Mr. Hung shared.

Vigorous vitality on the Tua Chua stone plateau
With 70% of the district's terrain being limestone mountains, when arriving at Tua Chua stone plateau, visitors will be overwhelmed by the landscape of rocks and rocks.
It seems unlikely that there would be any life among those overlapping layers of rocks. But this is the residential area of the Mong ethnic group for generations.
The unique colors of indigenous culture also contribute to creating a colorful picture of Tua Chua that attracts tourists.

The simple life, rich in the cultural colors of the Mong people in Tua Chua, is also what impressed Mr. Tran Hung. The population density in Tua Chua is very low, each village is dozens of kilometers apart.
People in Tua Chua are poor but they are always hard-working and diligent in farming on the rocky mountains. They take advantage of the rocky holes to fill the soil, grow vegetables, corn and rice in the valleys without rocks, serving their lives.
