Vietnamese dancesport couple Pham Trung Hoa - Nguyen My Trang
The Vietnamese dancesport athlete couple, Pham Trung Hoa - Nguyen My Trang, excelled over many opponents from all over the world , winning the gold medal in the Latin A category, Middle Age 2 (one over 40 years old and one over 45 years old).
Previously, on the first day of competition (May 27), they also won a silver medal in the Latin D category and a bronze medal in the Latin C category - Middle Age 2.
The two athletes excelled against many opponents from all over the world.
Previously, on May 3, the couple also entered the Top 30 best Latin dance couples in the world in the middle-aged group - a testament to the efforts and constantly improving professional level of Vietnamese dancesport athletes in the international arena.
Sharing from Taipei, Ms. Nguyen My Trang emotionally said that the athletes and the entire Vietnamese sports delegation attending the World Masters Games were extremely surprised and proud of this achievement.

"This is the first time we have stood on the highest podium in a global arena. I am very moved and want to share this joy and pride with everyone, especially those who are middle-aged and elderly.

Ms. My Trang said that participating in the middle-aged Olympics is a valuable opportunity to explore her own limits.
The World Masters Games will be held in Taipei and New Taipei City (Taiwan, China) from May 17 to 30. The event will bring together more than 25,000 athletes from 108 countries, competing in 35 different sports. Dancesport is one of the notable competitions, taking place from May 27 to 29 at the Taipei Arena multi-purpose stadium.
Mr. Pham Trung Hoa is a coach and dancesport athlete who has competed professionally for 18 years. He is currently the Director of VietsDance Sports Dance Center in Hanoi, where Ms. Nguyen My Trang has studied for the past 8 years.
Ms. Nguyen My Trang is a businesswoman, started practicing dancesport in 2017 and has just entered professional dancesport competitions at international tournaments since September 2023.
