Domestic gold prices continued to rise on January 24th. SJC gold and 9999 gold both increased by 1.8–2.1 million VND/ounce, reaching close to 174.3 million VND.

SJC gold prices (9999) continued their upward trend from yesterday, rising by more than 2 million VND at the end of the week.

Gold prices today, January 24th, continued their second consecutive day of increases, with major brands rising by 1.8 - 2.1 million VND/ounce, bringing the trading range to 172.3 - 174.3 million VND/ounce. Specifically:

Similar to SJC, the price of gold bars at DOJI this weekend increased by 2.1 million VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices. Currently, the buying price of gold is 172.3 million VND/ounce, and the selling price of gold is 174.3 million VND/ounce.

At the start of the weekend trading session, the buying price of gold at Mi Hong continued to hold its highest level at 172.5 million VND/ounce, 2 million VND higher than the previous session. The selling price of gold remained at 174.0 million VND/ounce, 1.8 million VND/ounce higher than the previous session.

Today, January 24th, at PNJ, the listed price of SJC gold bars increased by 2.1 million VND in both buying and selling directions. Currently, the buying price started the session at 172.3 million VND/ounce, and the selling price started the session at 174.3 million VND/ounce.

Bao Tin Manh Hai also recorded an increase of 1.8 million VND in both buying and selling prices today, with the current SJC gold bar price listed at 171.3 - 174.3 million VND/ounce (buying - selling).

At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the gold price today, January 24th, at 11:30 AM, is 172.3 million VND/ounce for buying and 174.3 million VND/ounce for selling. Both buying and selling prices increased by 2.1 million VND at the start of the trading session.

Finally, at 11:30 AM, the Phu Quy system announced today's gold price (January 24th) at 171.5 million VND/ounce for buying, 2 million VND higher than the previous session. The selling price was 174.3 million VND/ounce, also 2.1 million VND/ounce higher than the previous session.

The price of 9999 gold rings continued its upward trend at the end of the week.

At 11:30 AM, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong gold rings from DOJI was listed at 170.0 million VND/ounce (buy) and 173.0 million VND/ounce (sell), recording an increase of 3 million VND in both buying and selling prices yesterday, with a difference of 2 million VND/ounce.

Bao Tin Minh Chau maintained the price of gold rings at 171.3 million VND/ounce for buying and 174.3 million VND/ounce for selling, an increase of 2.1 million VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices compared to the previous session. The difference between the buying and selling prices remains at 3 million VND/ounce.

Phu Quy Group also listed the price of gold rings at 170.5 million VND/ounce (buying) and 173.5 million VND/ounce (selling), an increase of 1.8 million VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices yesterday, with the buy-sell spread remaining stable at 3 million VND/ounce.

World gold prices rose nearly 1% at the end of the week, approaching the $4,990/ounce mark.

As of 11:30 AM on January 24, 2026 (Vietnam time), the spot price of gold in the world market was $4,975.8 USD/ounce. This represents an increase of $40.2 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted using the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,381 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately VND 158.3 million per tael (excluding taxes and fees). Compared to the price of SJC gold bars in Vietnam on the same day (VND 172.3-174.3 million per tael), the current SJC gold price is about VND 16 million higher than the international gold price.
