However, thanks to the timely and drastic direction of the Party Committee, government and the coordination of local forces, no human casualties occurred.
During the peak period, the Commune People's Committee activated an emergency response plan, organized 24/7 duty, established rescue teams in 23/23 villages, and continuously warned about flood discharge through the loudspeaker system, community zalo and social networking platforms.

More than 230 officers, armed forces and people were mobilized to help evacuate 100 households to safety, set up checkpoints and warnings in dangerous areas. At the same time, ensure water, electricity and essential supplies for evacuation areas.
After the flood receded, the locality urgently inspected the damage, mobilized forces to clean up, disinfect, and make preliminary repairs to landslides. At the same time, they received and distributed thousands of necessities to help people stabilize their lives.

At the Conference, Cat Tien commune drew many important lessons. Among them, it emphasized the need for the commander to be proactive and decisive. The warning system must be timely and continuous. People need to raise awareness of complying with evacuation orders. On-site forces must be better equipped and regularly trained in rescue skills.
In addition, inspection and maintenance of drainage systems and screening of high-risk areas continue to be identified as key tasks.

Cat Tien Commune also proposed that the province and relevant departments and branches consider supporting funding to overcome damage to agriculture , traffic, and irrigation, in order to help the locality soon restore production and stabilize people's lives.
